Build a resume from your career history

Start with the fictional retail sample or choose Start blank. Add your name, the contact details you want employers to use and a short summary. In Career history, add experience, education, skills, projects, certifications or other achievements. Each entry is reusable across your resume versions.

Use plain text for your descriptions and one achievement per line. You can edit the same profile without retyping your history for each application.

Tailor a version for a job

Choose Duplicate to make another version, then name it for the role. In Tailor, include the entries you want and move them with the arrow buttons. A tailored title, description, achievement list or summary affects only this version. Use profile wording restores the link to the original entry.

Paste a job description to compare its words with your resume. The comparison stays on your device. It is a simple word comparison, not an ATS score or a prediction about getting an interview. Only add experience and skills you actually have. You can also draft a cover letter and download it as text.

Pick a template and download

Compare nine templates on the Design tab: Modern, Classic, Compact, Minimal, Executive, Editorial, Structured, Academic and Studio. Pick a miniature preview to change the design of this version. Your content and section order stay the same. Choose a Forest, Slate or Plum accent, select A4 or US Letter, and put the sections in the order you want. Empty sections stay out of the finished resume. You can also add a QR code beside your name that saves your contact details to a phone or opens your website. Every template uses ordinary section headings, a single reading order and real text rather than a picture of a page.

Save as PDF / print opens your browser's print dialog with the same template as the live preview. Choose Save as PDF to make the file on your device; your resume is not uploaded. Match the selected paper size and turn off browser headers and footers. Review page breaks before sending the file.

Download text gives you a plain-text copy for application forms. Save resume file downloads your full editable profile and all versions, including job descriptions and cover letters. Keep that file somewhere private. Open it on this page later and review the import before replacing your current draft.

Is this resume builder free without a login?

Yes. Editing, all nine templates and all download options are free. There is no account, payment screen or watermark.

Where is my resume saved?

The draft is saved in this browser tab while you work. A refresh keeps it; closing the tab clears it. Download a resume file to keep editing later. If browser storage is unavailable, the editor tells you to download your work before leaving.

Can I make more than one resume?

Yes. Keep up to ten versions using one career profile with up to 100 entries. Tailor each version for a different role without changing the original career details. Download a file before removing versions you may want later.

Will applicant tracking systems read the PDF?

The templates use selectable text, one reading order and familiar headings such as Experience, Education and Skills. Employers use different systems, so no resume builder can guarantee how every application system will interpret a file. Check its upload instructions and use the plain-text download when needed.

Can I publish a public resume link or invite a reviewer?

This private, no-account tool does not host public resumes or send review invitations. Share a downloaded PDF yourself. Your editor and draft file are not public pages.
