What gets in the way
Holiday, summer and back-to-school sets come and go, and last year's layout is hard to remember.
Gift stock rarely comes in tidy cases, so it is hard to know what will fit before it arrives.
Without numbers by display, it is guesswork which table or shelf deserves the new stock.

Versions you can go back to
Each approved planogram is kept as a version. Revise it for the new season while the current one stays in use.
Read the guide: Planogram approval process: review, approve and revise →Plan before it arrives
Add a product with its measured size as soon as you have a sample, and check the fit before the delivery.
Read the guide: How to measure products for a planogram and add them →Store map with linked displays
Draw the floor, place each fixture, and link it to the layout it carries.

Colour the store map by units sold or sell-through to see which displays are moving stock.
Read the guide: Read a store heat map of sales and stock →Example: Preparing a holiday reset
- Revise the front display's planogram to start a holiday draft.
- Add the new items as samples arrive, with measured sizes.
- Approve the draft the week before the reset; the summer version stays live until then.
- The team works through the checklist on reset night.
Good to know
- Package shapes are pouch, box and jar. Irregular items are planned by their bounding box.
- Product images cannot be uploaded; the shelf drawing uses colour and name.
